Privacy policy

Plain English, because it's a short list.

What we collect

Business submissions. When you add or claim a business we store what you type into the form — business name, address, phone, website, category, description and your contact email — so we can review and publish the listing.

Accounts. If you sign in, we store your email address and a sign-in record so you can return to your submissions.

Payments. Featured subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers; we keep only the subscription status, the listing it applies to, and the email used at checkout.

Directory data. Most listings are compiled from publicly available business information, including Google's business data. That's business contact information, not personal information.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information, we don't run third-party advertising networks on the site, and we don't email you marketing you didn't ask for.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies that keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We may use privacy-respecting traffic analytics to see which town pages are used; that data is aggregated and not tied to a name.

Third parties we rely on

Hosting and database (Lovable Cloud), payments (Stripe), maps and business data (Google), and event and weather data providers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Your choices

Email info@northwestgrid.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, including removing a business listing. We'll act on deletion requests promptly. See also our data disclosure.

Children

The site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect their information.
