Several industrial and healthcare facilities in North Idaho have launched or finished major building projects.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories purchased a large industrial property in Post Falls to expand its manufacturing footprint, alongside another acquisition in Nampa. Both planned facilities will produce electronic devices similar to goods made at the company's Lewiston site. SEL expects the Post Falls location to become operational in 2027 and employ approximately 250 manufacturing workers.

Nearby, aerospace supplier ATC Manufacturing broke ground on an expansion of its existing Post Falls site. The project adds 57,365 square feet to the facility and is scheduled for completion in summer 2027, with the company aiming to double its workforce capacity once construction concludes.

Additionally, Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest completed improvements and expansions at its regional care facility, bringing its total capacity to 70 private patient rooms for individuals undergoing treatment for injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
