Palmer Depot Hosts Interactive Assembly and School Board Candidate Forum

The Mat-Su Sentinel is hosting a nonpartisan town hall event titled "Flip the Script: Assembly & School Board" on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Palmer Depot. Running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the gathering is designed to provide residents with direct access to candidates running for local Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly seats and school board positions.

Organizers designed the forum with an interactive setup, asking attendees to bring charged smartphones to submit live feedback during candidate presentations. The event is open to the public and includes complimentary food and drinks for attendees looking to learn more about borough policy and education governance ahead of elections.
